Can you imagine struggling to get here and finding out that the struggle has just started? Tuition, food, Winter clothing, books, hygiene products, extremely devalued money from home if any, etc. Not being allowed to work. How do you survive

We are a 501c 3 nonprofit organization representing African professionals in the Pittsburgh Area.
The purpose of our fundraising gala is to help fund our scholarship program. This event will consist of a African food, African music, silent auction, and live auction, live entertainment. The party and part of the scholarship is funded by participating members & families of PAAPO. Our scholarship is need-based and we intend for it to assist students from Africa in the Pittsburgh region with books, meals, and etc… Since 2015 we have awarded dozens of scholarships across the Pittsburgh area.
