is to provide educational, professional, and even<br \/>life guidance to students as well as to help establish beneficial relationships<br \/>between Pittsburgh area African professionals and the regions\u2019 African students.<br \/>Mentor and mentee meet casually (or formally) virtually or in-person for about one<br \/>to three hours every month for a period of 6 to 8 weeks renewable in order to<br \/>discuss various topics (academics, career, life goals, etc.).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a063b4b elementor-widget voluntarily enter into a mentoring relationship. You agree to the following:\n\n  <ul>\n    <li><strong>Confidentiality:<\/strong> All information and content shared between the Mentor and Mentee shall be confidential.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Expectations:<\/strong> The Mentor is expected to provide educational and developmental advice and guidance. Both parties will work together to identify the Mentee's personal and professional goals and to develop a plan for achieving those goals. Mentors and Mentees will abide by the highest ethical standard in their interactions throughout this mentoring program.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Meetings:<\/strong> The Mentee and Mentor will meet and talk at least once a week at a mutually agreed time and place. Cancelled meetings should be rescheduled.
